Woodstock, Ont., September 10, 2025 – Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show kicked off its 32nd year yesterday with thousands of visitors pouring into the Woodstock farm show to take in live demonstrations, hands-on tours and a first look at the latest Innovations Award winners shaping Canadian agriculture.

Spread across more than 100 acres, the three-day outdoor show features over 600 companies, showcasing everything from advanced equipment, robotics, livestock and crop plots.

“You can walk the grounds and see a new piece of equipment in the morning, talk directly to the people who built it in the afternoon, and watch it run in the field before the day is done. That’s something you just can’t get anywhere else,” says Rob O’Connor, show director. “There’s no better place to get a feel for what’s next in farming.”

A highlight on the first day was the winners of the 2025 Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show Innovations Program, supported by Ontario’s Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Agribusiness (OMAFA). The five winners are:

Agronomics: Spornado | Spornado Sampler

Business Solutions: Lactanet Canada | Transition Management Index

Environmental Sustainability: LaSalle Agri Inc. | AgroBoost

Equipment: Haggerty Robotics | Monarch Electric Tractor

Livestock: BioFerScience Inc. | ProFlora Post-Calving Calcium Bolus

“Farmers can meet the winners and finalists right here at the show, ask questions, and see how these innovations could fit into their operations,” says O’Connor.

Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show continues daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., September 9–11, 2025, in Woodstock, Ont., drawing visitors from across Canada, the United States and beyond.
