Woodstock, ON., May 17, 2021 – From nitrogen management to cover crops, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show speakers share their knowledge as ever-evolving farm management practices are informed by research and fieldwork.
At the June 16 Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show digital event, two keynote speakers will discuss different ways to get more out of your crop, including nitrogen application and innovative cover crop solutions.
“Sharing information based on real-world conditions in the field is a tradition of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show,” says Lynda Tityk, Executive Vice-President of Glacier FarmMedia. “In a challenging year when getting together in person is difficult, we’re finding ways to offer key information from the field to help farmers make the most of their cropping efforts.”
Tityk says that the June 16 digital event of Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show is built around the theme Getting on with Growing – Vigilance in Crop Care. The event platform is mobile-friendly so farmers can watch speaker sessions on their devices from a tractor, truck or field office.
Farmers can register for the free digital pass to attend six themed digital event days in 2021 on the topics of planting, growing, research, livestock, harvest and innovation. Farmers can view past presentations, on-demand content and be first to be notified of new content until December 31, 2021.
Returning this year is the Flip & Win with Farmtario contest made possible through a partnership with New Holland, Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show and Farmtario. Participants enter for a chance to win $25,000 worth of tools and equipment from New Holland. Bonus entries can be found in Farmtario print editions until November and by registering for Canada’s Outdoor Farm Show 2021 digital events.
