- Consumer studies indicate a preference for high marbling in both
niche markets and large high-value market segments. Chris Crump of
Agriculture Ultrasound & Alliance Genetics in cooperation with Ontario
Swine Improvement Inc., conduct demos to showcase this innovation in
measuring intermuscular fat (marbling).

since April with dairy calves & lambs being studied for growth, nutrition

It’s estimated Ontario will have 20+ biogas facilities by the end of 2010.
Our newest construction project will show the inner workings of a life-size
digester for farmers & industry to see.
Once visitors understand the basics, they can see a real anaerobic digester processing manure from the 70 head of dairy cattle being milked in the Olympia Dairy Innovation Centre on the Lely and DeLaval robotic milking systems. This portable digester has been designed and manufactured by Highmark Renewables Research LP of Vegreville, Alberta and is called IMUS - Integrated bioMass Utilization System.
