A fleet of Toyota trucks will help staff officiate the Show. Qualified attendees can test-drive the new Toyota Tundra and Tacoma trucks through a grueling off-road test-tract, experiencing first-hand feature & benefits. At the Sustainable Energy Expo, on-road test drives of the new Toyota hybrid vehicles will be available.
The need for sustainable energy options on the farm has increased. So our Sustainable Energy Expo has expanded to a new location near the Ducks Unlimited Wetland Pond. It will feature the latest technologies geared at producing long-term cost-effective solutions, including solar, wind, geothermal and bio-fuel demos.
Federated Women’s Institute of Ontario will stage 20-minute presentations designed to entertain,
educate and empower women. Topics include well water safety, gardening, organic cooking ideas, fitness and more! Location will be in the Farm Family Greenhouse on 3rd Lane N.M.W. next to the 37S Lions’ Club Food Tent.

ATV and Utility Vehicle Ride & Drive
These vehicles aren’t just for fun anymore. They’ve become important workhorses around the farm, with auxiliary equipment & add-on features, not to mention fuel savings on smaller jobs. Ride & compare different models on a challenging obstacle course managed by the Ontario Federation of All Terrain Vehicles (OFATV).

CANADA’S OUTDOOR AG EQUIPMENT AUCTION
Canada East Equipment Dealers (CEEDA) will provide high-end UNRESERVED consignments through Bryan’s Auction Services with financing from Farm Credit Canada. Preview the equipment during the Show and attend the live auction on Thursday, September 11th.

In response to demand for heifers trained on robotic milkers, the demonstration herd at the Show will be auctioned at noon on Thursday, September 11, in the Lely Innovation Centre, using electronic RFID tags and hand-held reading and recording devices to keep bidders informed on pedigree & milking data. LOCATED AT THE LELY INNOVATION CENTRE.
For the second year, producers can select from 20 of the best beef cow/calf pairs (heifer calves) to upgrade traits in their commercial herds. Silent bids are acceptable during the Show leading up to the live auction.
