- See the most comprehensive display of new seed and crop technology impacting corn and soybean varieties, with many demonstrating the newest biotech and gene-stacking technology. As the agri-food industry moves towards Identity-Preserved (IP) cropping that is end-use specific, the future of cropping can be touched today in these input plots. See and compare crop inputs plots under real field conditions from Hyland Seeds, Pride Seeds, Dow AgroSciences/Mycogen Seeds, Syngenta Seeds/NK Brand, Country Farm Seeds, DuPont/Pioneer and DEKALB Brand Seeds/Monsanto.

TECHNOLOGY PLOT
- A first for Canada, Monsanto will feature their “Roadmap to Success,” by showcasing nine technologies not available on the market. A Stress Mitigation Tent will demonstrate the effectiveness of stacking traits under simulated dry-weather conditions, plus other value-enhanced crops. Sprayer clinic Demo
- Applying herbicides is challenging when delayed by weather, so operators must adjust equipment to avoid poor product performance, off-target crop injury or hefty fines. Come evaluate different nozzles in action & see how far spray drifts for yourself.

NEW! IP Combine Cleaning Workshops
- Requirements for IP (Identity-Preserved) cropping means producers have to know approved ways to clean combines to maintain varietal integrity. A workshop, lead by Dr. Mark Hanna from Iowa State University, with input from Ontario IP experts, will investigate the issues using major brands of combines.
NEW! Horse Power Expo
- Farmers can look AND drive tractors from each of the major manufacturers to “shop and compare” various technologies. Pre-qualified growers can put 3 power-categories through a driving obstacle course, experiencing features and benefits for themselves. (Administered by Oxford County Farm Safety Association).
NEW! 20 Acre Solar Pumping & Grazing Demo
- The Lely Voyager automatic grazing system will be shown for the first time in North America. With two solar-powered, self-propelled and GPS-guided robots, it eliminates the need to move fencing for optimal grazing. Solar-powered fencing from Kane and Gallagher will be featured, while the Kelln Solar Pump will move water over 2,000 ft. to paddocks.
